You may have heard a lot about CYBER KILL CHAIN.
But you may not know it.
A kill chain is used to describe the various stages of a cyber attack as it pertains to network security. The actual model, the Cyber Kill Chain framework, was developed by Lockheed Martin and is used for identification and prevention of cyber intrusions and Its a part of Intelligence-Driven Defence.
According to Lockheed Martin the seven stages of Cyber kill chain are:
- Reconnaissance
- Weaponization
- Delivery
- Exploit
- Installation
- Command and control
- Actions
