As a cybersecurity professional, I often find myself thinking about machine learning. It's one of the most cutting-edge technologies out there, and I worry that if I don't dive into it, I might eventually find myself stuck in what some might call a "traditional field"—the same way we now refer to "traditional security methods," "traditional SIEM," or "traditional antivirus."

The tech landscape is evolving fast, and staying ahead means embracing new tools and techniques. I'm curious—how many of you are thinking about your career growth in this context? Has anyone already started integrating machine learning into their cybersecurity practices? And I'm not talking about using different products that have AI under the hood and you are already using the finished product.

I'm especially interested in hearing from those who aren't programmers by trade but have taken the leap into machine learning and found ways to apply it in their work. What's been your experience? How did you get started, and what challenges have you faced along the way?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences! submitted by /u/athanielx
