Best MDR/XDR for EC2?

My organization is wanting to explore MDR/XDR solutions that would also provide coverage for our 10 EC2 servers (primarily web and web application servers running Amazon Linux)

Does the community have any recommendations?

Also,

Would an MDR/XDR solution need to be EC2 "aware" or would any Linux-compatible MDR/XDR client work if installed?

How much of a performance cost/impact should we prepare ourselves for (5%, 10%, 25%, 50%)?

Would it be better (more cost-effective) to utilize AWS's tools like Guard Duty for IDS, Config for baselines, etc., instead of installing MDR/XDR clients to each instance?
