Testing on websites created by myself

i m new in web app penetration testing, but i used to make different php websites for my projects, i have already installed kali linux through vmware in my windows machine and learnt about some tools, now i want to do testing on those php websites using kali linux tools, but where do i host that php website to do this, i tried to do it by running xammp in my windows machine and tried to acess it from my kali machine's browser but it didnt work, is there any other way of doing this? submitted by /u/Top_Confidence1371
